Wicker Park and Bucktown are busy day and night. Shops and bars cluster around Six Corners, where Milwaukee, North and Damen meet, and along Damen and Armitage in Bucktown. Foot traffic is high, the Blue Line runs through, and many storefronts are old buildings with big glass fronts.
That mix means two different jobs: crowds on weekend evenings, and empty streets in the small hours. We staff both.
A friendly uniformed guard at the door of a shop, bar or restaurant on busy nights.
Checks on front glass, side doors, rear entrances and alleys between close and open.
Late-hour presence at counters, entrances and the lot, including help with closing.
Short-term guards for sales, openings and weekend markets.
Staff walked to their cars or the Blue Line stop after a late shift.

We look at the doors, glass, lot and alley, then recommend a plan.
Guards arrive on your schedule and report after every shift.
Yes. We staff short-term shifts as well as long-term posts.
Not when it is done right. Our guards are trained in customer service and de-escalation, and they wear a clean uniform and greet people. Our armed vs. unarmed guide explains why most shops choose unarmed.
It depends on hours and the number of guards. See our cost guide.
