45 years in business. Valle Services provides Lakeview security guards for restaurants, bars, shops and salons. Our unarmed guards serve Chicago and all suburbs, 24/7.
In the news: At least 8 businesses on the 3700 and 3800 blocks of N. Southport were burglarized overnight on Sep 1, according to CBS Chicago, and CWB Chicago reported more break-in attempts in Wrigleyville and Boystown on Oct 27. See our roundup of reported Chicago business break-ins for what else has happened this fall.
Lakeview runs late. Southport restaurants fill up after the theater lets out, Broadway and Halsted bars stay busy past midnight, and Clark Street around Wrigleyville is packed on game nights. When the doors lock, the cash drawer and the glass front are what is left.
A guard gives you a person who is awake, outside and paying attention while the block is empty. For a bar or restaurant, that also means help with closing and with staff heading home.
A guard on site when the lights go down, the till is counted and the last guests leave.
Scheduled checks of front doors, windows, back doors and alleys between your closing and opening.
A uniformed guard outside your storefront can help deter break-ins, vandalism and loitering.
Staff walked to their cars or the Brown, Red or Purple Line stops after a late shift.
Everything that happens is written down for you, your landlord and your insurer.
Tell us the address, your closing time and what worries you.
We check the front, the back door and the alley, then suggest a fixed post, a patrol or both.
A guard shows up on your schedule and sends a written report.
No. Cameras record. A guard is there when something is happening. They work best together.
Yes. Many bars and restaurants only need Thursday to Sunday nights, and we adjust hours as your season changes.
Most storefronts do well with unarmed guards. See the armed vs. unarmed guide, and the cost guide for what shapes the price.
Tell us your address, your hours and what happened, and we’ll recommend coverage that fits.
