Valle Services provides unarmed and armed security guards in Evanston, Skokie and Glenview, IL for shopping centers, offices, research labs, venues, construction sites and events. With 45 years in business, we staff short-term, seasonal and ongoing posts on the North Shore and across Chicago and all suburbs.
These three suburbs have very different properties: a Big Ten football stadium in Evanston, one of the region’s largest open-air shopping centers and a science park in Skokie, and a former naval air station turned town center in Glenview. We build the post around your property, not a template.
Northwestern University opened its new Ryan Field at 1501 Central Street on October 2, 2026, with a sellout crowd for its first game, and concerts at the stadium are planned to start no earlier than 2027. Game days and events bring heavy traffic, parking pressure and crowds to Central Street and the surrounding neighborhood.
We provide event security, parking and traffic staff, and supplemental guards for businesses, property managers and event organizers in Evanston, along with property management security for apartment and office buildings.
Westfield Old Orchard, at Skokie Boulevard and Old Orchard Road, has been an open-air shopping center since 1956 and is adding apartments, restaurants and new outdoor space. Open-air centers have long walkways and quiet corners that cameras can’t fully cover, which is why visible, trained guards matter. Read our post on why visible security matters at shopping centers.
Skokie is also home to the Illinois Science + Technology Park on Lamon Avenue, a research and office campus built on the former Searle site. For labs, offices and stores we provide lobby and front-desk guards, access control, patrols and retail security and loss prevention.
Glenview’s former Naval Air Station closed in the 1990s, and the village turned the 1,028-acre base into The Glen, with about 1.9 million square feet of retail, restaurant, hotel and office space. Busy shopping and dining areas, offices and hotels all need people at the door and in the parking lots.
We provide Glenview businesses with unarmed security guards, parking lot security, corporate office security and venue and event security for galas, fundraisers and large private events (4+ hours).
See our pages for event security in Lake Forest, security guards in Des Plaines and our Chicago security guard company page. You can find every town we cover on our Areas We Serve page.
